Quickstart
Create a key, add credit, and copy a ready-made setup for your tool.
Four steps, about two minutes.
Step 1 — Create an API key
- Sign up or log in.
- Open Console → API keys and click Create key.
- Copy the key (it starts with
sk-aivo_). It is shown only once — store it somewhere safe, like a password manager.
The window that shows your new key also has the ready-made setup commands with the key already filled in — you can copy them right there.
Step 2 — Add credit
A brand-new account has nothing to spend yet, so the first request would fail with 402. Pick one:
- Free: claim free tokens on the faucet.
- Pay as you go: top up your balance on Billing.
- Monthly plan: choose one on Pricing.
Step 3 — Copy your setup
Paste your key into the box below, pick your tool, then copy the command and paste it into your terminal. Everything — base URL, key and model — is already filled in.
Your key stays in this browser tab. It is not sent anywhere and not saved.
Paste into a terminal. It saves the settings for new terminals too, then starts Claude Code.
RC="$HOME/.$(basename "$SHELL")rc" cat >> "$RC" <<'EOF' # AivoKey - Claude Code export ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL="https://api.aivokey.dev" export ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN="sk-aivo_YOUR_KEY" export ANTHROPIC_MODEL="deepseek-v4-pro" export ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_OPUS_MODEL="deepseek-v4-pro" export ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_SONNET_MODEL="deepseek-v4-pro" export ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_HAIKU_MODEL="deepseek-v4-pro" export CLAUDE_CODE_SUBAGENT_MODEL="deepseek-v4-pro" EOF . "$RC" claude
Paste your key above and it is filled into the commands. Model: deepseek-v4-pro. You can switch to any id from the Models page later.
Prefer to set things up by hand? Every tool has its own page: Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cline, Roo Code & Kilo Code, Other tools & SDKs.
Step 4 — Check it works
Send one message in your tool (or use the Test (curl) tab above). The request shows up within seconds in Console → Usage.
Not working? Check Troubleshooting.
What next?
- Connect your coding agent: Coding agents overview.
- Pick a model: Models.
- See what you have left: Console overview or Check your usage.
