AivoCode CLI

Install and use AivoCode (aivo) v1.0, the native CLI coding agent for AivoKey.

AivoCode (aivo) v1.0 is the native CLI coding agent and harness purpose-built for AivoKey. Download the package or view the benchmark results on the AivoCode CLI page.

Step 1 — Install AivoCode

Windows (PowerShell):

irm https://aivokey.dev/cli/download/install.ps1 | iex

macOS / Linux:

curl -fsSL https://aivokey.dev/cli/download/install.sh | sh

Or install globally via npm from the official release tarball:

npm install -g --force https://aivokey.dev/cli/download/aivocode-1.0.1.tgz

Step 2 — Authenticate with your AivoKey API key

Create a key in Console → API keys, then run:

aivo login sk-aivo_... --base-url https://api.aivokey.dev

The setup wizard verifies your key, filters Models eligible for your account, and saves your default primary model (deepseek-v4-pro) and fast subagent model to ~/.aivokey/config.json.

Step 3 — Run a coding task

Start an interactive session in your project folder:

aivo

Or run a non-interactive coding task directly:

aivo run "Fix the failing tests and verify" --model deepseek-v4-pro

Version 1.0 harness capabilities

  • Auto-Hydrated Context — automatically attaches @file.ts#10-40 line ranges, prompt-referenced workspace files, and Git branch/commit context on the first turn, maximizing Prompt caching hits and cutting token usage.
  • 7 Specialist Agent Teams — run structured multi-stage workflows with aivo workflow "<goal>" --team fullstack (fullstack, backend, frontend, android, blender3d, gamedev, autopilot).
  • Multi-Wire & Auto-Recovery — switch between chat, messages, and responses wires with adaptive step reasoning effort and automatic stream-stall failover.
  • Anti-AI-Slop Review Loop & Checkpoints — audits modified files against unfinished TODO stubs and triggers a dedicated Fixer agent pass when needed, with per-turn /undo and /redo checkpoints.
