Introduction
What AivoKey is and where to start.
AivoKey gives you one API key for many AI models — Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Grok and more. Plug it into the tools you already use (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cline, your own code) and switch models by changing one word: the model id.
What you need
Only two things, and every page of these docs uses them:
| Value | |
|---|---|
| Base URL | https://api.aivokey.dev/v1 |
| API key | sk-aivo_... — create one in the console |
Claude Code and the Anthropic SDKs are the one exception: they add /v1 themselves, so give them https://api.aivokey.dev without /v1.

Good to know
- One model id everywhere. Use the id from the Models page, for example
deepseek-v4-pro— no prefix, no provider name. - Works with any client. AivoKey speaks both the OpenAI format and the Anthropic format, so tools built for either work without changes.
- Pay the way you like. Free tokens from the faucet, a monthly plan, or a prepaid balance — see Plans.
